Quilt No.12 Violet Kaleidoscope

Intriciately handcut wood veneer marquetry in bespoke tray frame. Inspired by traditional quilting and parquet patterns. This piece has a distinct feel of a textile artwork despite being made in solid wood.

Wood veneers used in this piece include ash and rosewood santos crown.

All marquetry is finished with a beautiful UV protective wood oil but never hang in direct sunlight as this will cause fading.

Measures like 160mm x 410 x 40mm deep framed.
Framed in a beautiful deep walnut veneer frame.

All artwork is signed and numbered on reverse.

Please also note that each veneer has its own beautiful textures and shades within it, this all adds to its beauty.
